The map

every maker in these markets, measured from settled records

Each print has one taker and one maker at one price, and the box settles at zero or one, so what makers earned is arithmetic on the exchange's own record. No model, no fill assumption. Makers are paid at both ends and taxed in the middle: sell the cheap boxes, buy the near certain ones, quote nothing between 20c and 80c. Every policy below is judged against this shape.

Are we first in line?

live, against the touch

The pool is a ceiling, not a forecast. Every cent of it went to a maker already in the queue when the taker arrived. A quote resting behind the touch is filled only once everyone ahead of it is, which is the one thing that broke the first backtest and the reason the newest policy beats the touch by a cent or stays out.

The books

one row per policy, both fill models across

Two fill models bracket the price test. Strict fills only when the tape printed through the resting price, so it keeps the adverse half by construction. Front of queue counts a print at the price too. Since 2026-09-26 both pay on the contracts that actually printed through us, not on the whole offer: before that, one contract trading against a twenty-two contract ask booked twenty-two.

At the touch is the floor, and it is the column to read. A resting order trades after everything priced better than it, and we never recorded the depth at our own price, so no number here can say for certain that a quote would have filled. This one counts only the quotes that were the best price on their side when we placed them. Where the two columns disagree in sign, the profit is an assumption about the queue rather than a measurement.
