Graveyard

Overcast morning inside a stone-walled cemetery.

Grid

Neon deck under the stars, raised platforms on every side.

Deadtown

A foggy town at dusk. Streets, alleys and buildings you can enter.

Subway

An underground station with a stalled train. Close quarters.

Warehouse

Container stacks, rack aisles and a catwalk perch.

Mall

Storefronts, a dry fountain and a mezzanine ring up the escalators.

Farm

A barn with a hayloft, the silo, the farmhouse and the corn at dusk.

Hospital

Corridors, wards, the operating theatre and the morgue.

Motel

A roadside stop in the desert at sundown. The highway, the gas station, the motel and the diner.

Cove

A smugglers' cove under the old sea fort, by moonlight. Walls, piers and a wreck.

Pines

A logging camp in the pines at dusk. Cabins, the sawmill, a creek and the lookout.

Get out of town before midnight. The last evac flight leaves from the radio tower on Ridge Field, two miles north.
