What we keep, and why.

In short

Echelon is a trading education product: the training, session recaps, and the member chat, on the web at d1fpc3.com, in the Windows desktop app, and in the iOS app. This page says what we store and why, in plain language.

What we collect

• Your account. Email address, and a password if you set one. Sign-in also works through a link we email you, or through Discord if you connect it.
• Your profile. The username, photo, and bio you choose to add.
• What you write in Echelon. Chat messages, journal pages, trade recaps and their charts, homework submissions, and reviews. Your journal is private to you; chat and posted recaps are visible to other members.
• Progress. Which lessons and videos you have opened, so the app can hold your place.
• Purchases. Payments run through Stripe on the web and through Apple In-App Purchase in the iOS app. We keep the record of what your account owns, plus the TradingView username you gave us for the D1 LIT indicator if you did so before October 20, 2026 (it is no longer asked for); card details never touch our servers, and Apple shares none with us.
• On the public pages (this site outside the app). An anonymous visit counter, SeenRank's pixel: it notes which page was opened and where the visit came from, such as a search engine or an AI assistant, and keeps a 30-minute visit id in your browser. No names, no ads. Some pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, and the Discord member count comes from Discord.
• Invite rewards, if you use them. Who joined through your invite (shown to you by username only, never their email), each reward and whether it was paid, and the payout details you save (a PayPal or Zelle email, a $Cashtag, a Venmo username) so d1 can send it. Only the owner sees the payout details.
• Discord, if you connect it. Your Discord account id and username, used to place you in the member server with the right role. Disconnecting removes the link.
• Bank connections (the owner's admin only). The owner's private admin can link the owner's own bank accounts through Plaid, read only. Choosing to connect a bank in Plaid's window is the consent; it keeps account names, the last 4 digits, balances and transactions, never full account or routing numbers, and nothing can move money. Members are never asked to connect a bank. Unlinking a bank deletes its accounts and transactions from Echelon at once.

What we do not do

• No ads, and no selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
• No tracking in the apps.
• No reading of your private journal. It is yours.

Where it lives

Data is stored on servers we operate ourselves (self-hosted open-source Supabase software for the database and sign-in, with encrypted backups kept off-site), and Cloudflare relays traffic to them without storing it. Payments are processed by Stripe on the web and by Apple in the iOS app, and bank connections in the owner's admin run through Plaid. All of them act on our instructions to run Echelon and nothing else.

Deleting your account

Settings, then Delete account, inside the app. It removes your account and everything attached to it. You can also email d1fpc3@gmail.com and we will do it for you.
